Tiffany A. Armstrong
Quantitative Fisheries Research Scientist
In November of 2019 I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Glasgow. I studied the effects of maternal care on offspring development. Focusing on the innovation of maternal mouthbrooding in African cichlids, I investigated how shortened care durations altered craniofacial shape, behavior, and brain morphology.
Currently, I am a quantitative fisheries research scientist for the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe. My work primarily focuses on populations of invasive and non-native predators of juvenile salmonids.
